ATC P1 Pro Dual-Mono Power Amplifier

The P1 Pro is a dual mono power amplifier in MOSFET Class A/B technology with an output of 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms. With an output of 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, this fanless, rack-mountable power amplifier is the perfect solution for any recording studio that demands the best possible performance from its passive monitors.

P1 Pro offers a rackable housing with a front-panel standby button and overload indicators for the left and right channels. The amplifier features the same circuit design and speaker protection circuitry found in ATC's powered monitors. These circuits ensure that the power amplifier works without clipping even at very high volumes, protecting the loudspeakers from damage and at the same time improving the subjective performance of the overall system. Thanks to convection cooling without a fan, the power amplifier can be placed in the control room without any problems.

The P1 Pro offers a "real" dual-mono design: the power supply, the signal processing and the returns both channels are completely separate and independent of each other. This approach maximizes signal separation and minimizes crosstalk. In addition, possible intermodulation between the channels via the power supply is reduced to an absolute minimum at all frequencies. This also ensures that the power requirement of one channel cannot influence the power provided by the other channel.
