The S16 gives you 16 remote-controlled mic preamps and 8 balanced analog XLR returns from the stage to the mixing console using just one Cat 5e cable. The immediately clear advantages include the lightweight, streamlined design, faster set-up and breakdown effort, and a much shorter run between Mic-pre A/D converter and stage mics, but that’s just the beginning.

The S-16 is loaded with 16 fully programmable, remote-controlled, industry-leading Midas preamps (with Phantom power), ensuring outstanding, low-latency sound reproduction. With 8 servo-balanced XLR outputs and assignable headphone inputs/outputs, you can easily control monitor mixes on stage or in the live room from the console.

The P-16 is designed for seamless compatibility with Behringer X-series and Klark Teknik mixers, complete integration with Powerplay personal monitors, and any AES50-equipped digital mixer. When used with Behringer’s ADA8200 interface (sold separately), you can even take advantage of the P-16’s lightweight 16x16 remote pre-amp control, even with analog consoles. Additionally, the S-16 is equipped with dual ADAT outputs, MIDI in/out, and a USB connector for system updates.
