Built to last, the pressure gradient transducer is protected by a sturdy shock-mounted capsule, a diecast chassis, a high-impact swivel mount, and gold-plated XLR contacts for years of reliability.
MIC500USB Tube Preamplifier and USB/Audio Interface
The oh-so-essential partner to any great mic or sound source is the quality of your mic-pre, which directly impacts the quality of your recordings. It was designed in Germany and built with the highest quality components (including a hand-chosen 12AX7) for the authentic tube-driven warmth of a pricey, vintage channel strip. Regarding flexibility, with preset configurations for vocal, guitar, bass, keyboards, percussion, and 11 more, versatility couldn’t be any easier. Alongside the presets, the MIC500s control surface has an output limiter to cut distortion, a low-cut filter to tame low-frequency noise, a polarity switch, a 20db pad, and phantom power.
