New 2026 redesign with 4 channels and MIDI
Black levant tolex, salt & pepper grill, gold piping, black knobs
The journey of the Ecstasy began in 1992 with the introduction of the 100B. At a time when many players relied on external multi-channel preamps or multi-amp setups, Reinhold recognized that a single integrated circuit design offers better dynamics. The 100B featured three channels with extensive switching to tailor both preamp and power amp response.
In 1995, the amp evolved into the 101B, with revisions through 1997 before remaining largely unchanged until the end of 2024. In 2001, the Classic model was introduced as an alternative to the now rare 100B, featuring a chrome control panel, circuit tweaks, and slightly fewer features.
The 20th Anniversary model arrived in 2009 with a gold plexiglass-style control panel and further refinements, becoming the flagship of the Ecstasy line until its discontinuation at the end of 2024.
In October 2025, Bogner introduced the Ecstasy 104, built on a completely new platform with the addition of a fourth channel.
Channels 1, 2, and 3—Green, Blue, and Red—have been refined, with new mode switches on the Blue and Red channels for expanded tonal flexibility.
The new Purple channel, referred to as the “Zero” channel, is powered by an additional preamp tube and sits between a dirty clean and a ’60s plexi-style tone, with a midrange bounce reminiscent of a tube-rectified, lower-wattage amp.
The 104 Gold Voicing features 6L6 power tubes and 100 watts of power, following in the footsteps of the 20th Anniversary model.
