Gem Archer, the versatile guitarist from Oasis, Beady Eye, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, is known for using an Epiphone Sheraton™ originally gifted to him by Noel Gallagher. Now, Epiphone introduces the Masterbilt Gem Archer Sheraton, a new artist model inspired by the original Sheraton that Gem still regularly plays. First introduced in 1958, the Sheraton is an original Epiphone design celebrated for its elegance and tone. This Masterbilt semi-hollowbody model upholds Epiphone’s highest standards of craftsmanship and component quality, built to the same standards as the Inspired by Gibson Custom series and featuring the etched Double Diamond on the back of the headstock.
The Masterbilt Gem Archer Sheraton features a semi-hollowbody constructed from 5-ply layered maple/poplar with a solid maple centerblock for enhanced sustain and feedback resistance. The top and back are multi-ply bound, as are the headstock and fretboard, contributing to its refined appearance. The one-piece mahogany neck has a comfortable 60s C profile and a rosewood fretboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl block and abalone triangle inlays. Its large 60s-style Sloped Dovewing headstock showcases the historic Epiphone logo and Tree of Life inlays crafted from mother of pearl.
The guitar features all gold hardware and a Vintage Gloss finish for a timeless aesthetic. The headstock is fitted with smooth-turning Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with Milk Bottle buttons, paired with a Graph Tech® nut to ensure stable tuning performance. An ABR-1 bridge and Casino™-style raised diamond trapeze tailpiece anchor the strings securely. Electronics include a pair of USA-made Gibson Mini Humbucker™ pickups wired with high-quality CTS® potentiometers, Mallory™ capacitors, a Switchcraft® three-way toggle switch, and a 1/4" output jack, delivering premium tone and reliability.
Available in both right- and left-handed configurations, the Masterbilt Gem Archer Sheraton comes complete with an Epiphone hardshell case for protection and transport. Combining vintage character with modern craftsmanship, this signature model honors Gem Archer’s legacy and the enduring heritage of the Epiphone Sheraton.
