The extra dark hand-sorted rosewood slab ‘board, adorned with clay dot markers, adds to the well-loved early 60s Tele Custom style. Features from the 50s era include the deep U-shaped 1954 neck profile, with a heavy relic “dirty neck” finish, for the smooth feel of a guitar that’s been broken in with perfection. Under the Pearl White finish lies more surprises-A 50’s era hand selected Ash body provides the snap and responsive tone that helped make the Tele so popular. Great tone also comes from a pair of ’51no-caster “flathead” bridge pickups and a matching/balanced ‘51 no-caster neck pickup.
