Inside, the newly designed LX center block uses a lightweight, chambered spruce construction to improve resonance, lightning-fast response, and sharp attack, while reducing overall weight and runaway feedback. Upper fret access is also vastly improved by the redesigned neck pocket, which allows the thin, modern U-shaped neck to clear the body up to the 19^th fret. In the electronics department, the new Pro Twin-Six adjustable pole Alnico humbucker pickups go from warm to scorching hot, with surprisingly detailed articulation, even in super-high-gain applications.

Outside, the new deep dual-cutaway silhouette delivers sharp, classic looks, enhanced by the heavily flamed maple top, gold hardware (including a string-trough Bigsby vibrato), and a striking deep reddish-brown tear drop sunburst finish.
