The AM53 features a Sapele top, back and sides in resonant transparent flat finish. The fretboard is rich Laurel contrasted by white dot inlays, set to a slim Mahogany set-in neck that has proven its reliability on thousands of Ibanez hollow and semi-hollow bodies throughout the years.
