We looked around online and decided on the Jupiter over one of the cheaper ones from the typical online stores (the ones whose names started with a W or an A). One of the concerns about buying a second-hand instrument is whether the instrument requires servicing before it could be played. We saw a listing from Alto Music and, using their online communication prompt, inquired if the instrument has been looked over before it was put on the market. Although it was after business hours, someone quickly responded. After we received the instrument, everything is as described, including a brand-new Jupiter mouthpiece. We also received a bonus care package for the instrument that was not mentioned in the conversation or listing. If the instrument was not listed as used, we would have assumed it was new. The condition is pristine. The sound quality is what one expects from a brand-named manufacturer.
