- 100% synthetic all-weather djembe — Alpine Series djembes feature classic djembe sounds and shell shapes with materials that stand up to changes in weather — a PVC shell and durable synthetic head give you plenty of tone with little tuning maintenance
- Easy tuning — using the included tuning wrench, tweaking the sound of this djembe is done with a quick turn of the lugs that secure the rim to the shell — used in place of traditional rope runners, the lugs are non-intimidating and easy to use for anyone
- Large size (barnwood finish) — the playing surface (known as the head) measures 12” in diameter, while the drum stands 24" tall — the shell features a decorative barnwood finish
- Deep bass and high pitch slap tones — striking the center of the head with your palm gives you a deep, resonant bass note, while slapping toward the edge of the head with your fingers delivers a cracking pop sound
- A dynamic touch for any skill level — made for a host of playing situations, these djembes are also easy to pull a great sound out of, regardless of skill level — anyone can construct their own rhythms on this djembe
