The PMC6-2 is a compact 3-way active studio monitor. It features two of the 6.5” LF drive units found in the smaller PMC6 and the same high-quality tweeter. It also features the custom PMC55 midrange and ‘n-compass’ waveguide that debuted in the CI Series.
The speaker is powered by a 4x400W amplifier constructed from ICEPower’s next-generation amp modules. The amp modules deliver a new level of performance in terms of sound quality whilst maintaining the high reliability rates that we have so far experienced on their other modules. Each bass driver is powered by its own independent amp channel.
The PMC6-2 is intended to fill the current gap in our product range for a compact 3-way monitor.
The PMC6-2 features mounting threads on the sides of speaker to allow it to be hung from a yoke, providing flexible mounting options for multi-channel rigs.
