The 1994 PRS CE24 captures the early bolt-on era of PRS design, blending classic construction with the fast, articulate response players expect from a snapy, bolt-on neck guitar. Built with a mahogany back and carved maple top, this model delivers a balanced tone with clarity, punch, and sustain.

Its bolt-on maple neck is paired with a rosewood fretboard and a comfortable, fast-playing carve typical of early CE models. The 24-fret design and 25" scale length provide excellent versatility across styles.

Electronics on this 1994 example reflect the original CE configuration, featuring PRS humbuckers of the period, a master volume and tone control, and a 5-way rotary switch—offering a wide range of tones from full humbucking power to articulate single-coil-style sounds.

Originally introduced in 1988, the CE line brought together PRS craftsmanship and the bright, responsive character of bolt-on construction. This early ‘90s CE24 stands as a great example of that legacy, offering vintage PRS feel and tone in a timeless black finish.
