The SL4 connects up to four vinyl turntables or CD players to one or two laptops, using the mixer of your choice. The SL4 is the first standalone DJ interface with two USB ports for seamless DJ changeover and back-to-back performances.
Get superior sound with high quality 96 kHz, 24-bit audio. Built-in galvanic isolation between USB and audio, with turn on/off muting, ensures that only the purest interference-free audio signal is heard. Low-latency ASIO and Core Audio drivers allow using the SL4 as a studio production tool with multiple third-party software applications.
Galvanic isolation guarantees audio is actively isolated from USB and power. The RIAA phono equalization is extremely accurate, for the best sound from your vinyl. 3Vrms inputs are accepted from CD decks without clipping, and outputs 3Vrms go to the mixer without clipping; other interfaces can’t handle this much signal.

What's in the Box?
- SPL Tube Vitalizer 9530 Signal Processor
- Tube-driven warmth and brightness: The device incorporates tube-driven circuitry, which is known for producing warm and bright tones in audio signals. Tubes can add harmonic distortion that is often perceived as pleasing and can impart a vintage character to the sound.
- De-masking hidden sonic details: The device is designed to reveal and enhance subtle details in your audio mix that might be obscured or masked. This could involve clarifying individual elements and making the overall mix more transparent.
- Patented filter network for richness: The presence of a patented filter network suggests a unique and proprietary method for shaping the frequency response of the audio, possibly aimed at bringing out the richness in the sound.
- Core vitalizer circuit for low and hi-mid frequencies: A core vitalizer circuit is employed to sculpt the low and high-mid frequencies of your audio. This likely involves targeted processing to enhance or shape specific frequency ranges.
- High-frequency and harmonics processing stage: There's a dedicated stage for processing high frequencies and harmonics. This could involve adjusting the upper register of your audio, possibly for adding sparkle or clarity.
- Coil filters (LC) and built-in compression: The inclusion of coil filters (inductor-capacitor or LC filters) suggests a method for further shaping the frequency response. Additionally, built-in compression on both the vitalizer stage and high-frequency stage indicates dynamic control, which can affect the volume and sustain of the audio.
- Shunt limiter for tape-style analog saturation: The shunt limiter is a component that provides analog saturation, mimicking the characteristics of tape saturation. This can add a pleasing warmth and compression to the sound, reminiscent of vintage recording techniques.
- Tube stage with powerful attenuation control: The tube stage in the device allows for powerful attenuation control, meaning you can adjust the amount of signal passing through the tube circuitry. This gives you the flexibility to dial in the desired amount of tube-driven characteristics.
