Part of Sandberg’s Classic Series, the Classic Special features a striking Rarewood Thuya finish over a matching rarewood body, paired with black hardware and a matched headstock for a distinctive look. The rosewood fingerboard includes 24 frets, white face dot inlays, and a 14" (355.6 mm) radius. A 6-bolted Canadian hardrock maple neck offers a comfortable C-shape profile and smooth playability.

Built with a 35" (889 mm) scale length, this 4-string model is equipped with two Delano soapbar pickups and a Sandberg 3-band preamp with active/passive switching and a passive tone control for versatile tone shaping. Adjustable string spacing at the bridge ranges from 18.5 to 20 mm (0.73"–0.79").
