The Schecter Omen Extreme-II Quilted Maple Top Electric Guitar in Nocturne Shadow features a bolt-on construction with a mahogany body and quilted maple top. It has an arched top contour, black 1-ply binding, and satin black hardware. The bridge is a Schecter Nouveau Ergo hardtail. This is a right-handed instrument.

The neck is rock maple with a thin “C” profile and a 25.5" (647.7 mm) scale length. It has an ebony fingerboard with a 14" (355.6 mm) radius, 24 jumbo frets, and offset metal ring inlays with dot side markers. Nut width is 42 mm (1.65"), and the nut is Graph Tech XL Black Tusq. Neck thickness measures 20 mm (0.79") at the 1st fret and 22 mm (0.87") at the 12th fret. The truss rod is a 2-way adjustable rod with a 5/32" (4 mm) Allen nut. Tuners are Schecter locking.

Electronics include Schecter San Andreas pickups in both the bridge and neck positions, with master volume, master tone (push-pull coil split), and a 3-way toggle switch.

Additional features include metal dome knobs and Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010–.046).
