Inside, a fanned variant of Taylor's V-Class bracing architecture adds more volume and longer sustain, while Taylor's patented Action Control Neck™ incorporates a long-tenon neck joint to warm up the low-end resonance and offers unmatched adjustability and playing comfort—just turn the interior bolt to alter your action (string height) in seconds, without needing to remove the neck or detune the strings. 

A striking black top finish treatment is complemented by cream-colored binding, rosette, pickguard, and Crest inlays, with a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge and Indian rosewood bridge pins to round out the visual details. Dressed in a full-body gloss finish, the Gold Label 717e Blacktop features LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and includes a deluxe British Cocoa hardshell case.
