Universal Audio's 8110 is an 8-channel mic preamp with Class-A discrete electronics, three-position tone control through switchable transformer loading, and separate input and output gain controls for various sonic characteristics. Polarity inversion, attenuation, and fixed high-pass filter are standard. Features mic and line inputs, but is without the Hi-Z instrument inputs of the 4110.
